High fuel prices impact businesses directly, by increasing the cost of transportation. They also impact businesses indirectly by increasing the cost of goods (as the manufacturers increase prices to keep up with the fuel cost).
If you have a family, then this means that your grocery prices are increasing. More money spent on groceries means that your home business has to earn more to maintain your family's lifestyle. Today is Memorial Day in the United States. This is a day set aside to honor those who gave their lives for the country.
Many towns and cities will have parades and picnics. For most U.S. workers, this is day off to spend with friends and family. The Memorial Day holiday goes all the way back to the Civil War in the United States. Most of the National Cemetaries will have memorial services. On Friday, May 2nd, Myanmar (a small country bordered on the right by Thailand) was struck by colossal winds and waves. Thousands of homes were destroyed. Thousands of lives were lost.
