The idea of blogtipping is to spotlight three blogs that you feel are noteworthy. For each blog you list three reasons why they are noteworthy and publish a tip.
Here are my three blogtipping choices:
1. HomeBizNotes
At HomeBizNotes Mary Emma Allen and Yvonne Russell shared daily business tips for those of us who work at home. Three points that I really like about this blog:
- The blog takes a fresh look and an up-to-date spin at business basics.
- The blog has plenty of competitions and other opportunities for reader participation.
- The blog regularly highlights other resources, such as websites and books, that would be of interest to its readers.
Tip: Incorporate photographs once in a while for visual interest.
2. Sparkplug CEO
This is the original blog of home business thought leader, Wendy Piersall, that has spawned an entire network of work-at-home blogs. Three points that I really like about this blog:
- How Wendy is able to relate her personal experiences to business.
- The tremendous Sparkplugging community that Wendy has (she has great comments).
- The way that Wendy frequently links to other relevant blogs.
Tip: It was hard to find a tip for this blog, but I would like to see Wendy add podcasting or videocasting.
3. Web Worker Daily
Web Worker Daily tackles technology to bring you the best tips for working at home. Three points that I really like about this blog:
- Provides a unique perspective (technology) on working at home.
- Containts neat product reveiws.
- I like the earth tone color scheme (beige, brick red, etc.)
Tip: I was surprised that Web Worker Daily's About page didn't have photos of the bloggers.
What do you think about these blogs?
Leave a comment and let us know.
