
This year the Internet has gotten into the April Fool's tradition wholeheartedly with posts like this one about the new IRS tax exemption for bloggers or this one about Darren Rowse's new income-making opportunity.
Even traditional media has gotten into the spirit of the holiday and is reporting on pranks:
- From the BBC, Fairy fool sparks huge response
- From the Sydney Morning Herald, All the news fit to print... for fools
Okay, that list bit about free cupcakes and autographs was my own feeble attempt at an April Fool's joke.
For some information about the origins of the holiday, you can turn to Snopes or Wikipedia.
(Homeschooling moms, what a fun project! You know that your kids are interested in jokes anyway, why not have them look up famous pranks?)
