The truth is, cooking is one of those tasks that really can take a lot of time. Not only do you have to prepare and cook the food, you also have to clean up afterwards. I know that when I was growing up my mother spent over an hour on food preparation every single day.
I usually don't have over an hour to prepare the family meal each day. What can I do to make sure that everyone gets fed?
The temptation, of course, is to order something for delivery or run through a drive-through. (That's probably why so many of us struggle with our weight.) But the fast food dinner options are not the best for the family's health or budget.
The question of what to do about meals when you are in a hurry is why I was glad to find this link for meals that can be prepared quickly at Yahoo! Food. Yahoo! Food also has a list of recipes for healthy meals.
What about you? What ARE you having for dinner tonight? Feel free to share (or link to) your favorite quick recipes, or tell what you're actually serving.

In modern life, there never seems to be enough time. Many people do not even want to cook. So do those busy moms! Some of them even choose fast food, but that's bad for their family. As a new vegetarian and a single person on the go I am in search of great cookbooks, I have purchased a few of Ms. Robertson's cookbooks and use the Quick Fix vegetarian book the most. It has recipes in all categories of food: salads, soups, even deserts. Here is the book that I found: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=94229&ru=279 , I think it is a good choice for those busy moms if they do not have enough time to cook for their family. Huh!
