While I'm not about to change the name of Work From Home Momma (for one thing, it belongs to Know More Media), as someone who blogs on a site with "mom" somewhere in its name, I can fully relate to Wendy's dilemma.
The thing is, a lot of what we discuss here is relevant to dads too. Dads have families that they care about. Some dads work from home. Dads care about issues that affect their families. Dads want to balance their time better. ...And so on...
As a matter of fact, I do know that there are some men who read this blog. I know it because they leave comments, stumble posts, and link to it. But, like Wendy, I wonder if I couldn't somehow reach more of them.
My unofficial (and probably previously unpublished) policy has always been that dads are more than welcome here. I'd love to see a few more participate.
I know that I may have contributed to the problem in the past by using phrases like work-at-home mom and WAHM. The fact is, the term "WAHM" has entered the blogosphere in a big way. Other terms, Work-at-Home Parent (WAHP?) or Work-at-Home Moms and Dads (WAHMAD?) aren't quite as popular.
I'm not quite sure what to do for the dads, so I'm throwing this topic open for suggestions.
How do you think I should address this problem? (Or, should I even address it?) I'd love to hear from all of the readers on this, including the dads.

Hey Laura! :)
The more I dive into this, the more enlightening it is. "Home Business" is not what it used to be anymore. Plenty of our readers don't think of themselves as running a home business - yet they are.
Technology has opened up a lot of doors for people to take charge of their own careers - but I think that the stereotypes and terminology haven't evolved as quickly as people have.
It's been fascinating!
