I've blogged before about how I think that blog carnivals can benefit your home business. In fact, if you're not reading blog carnivals, then you may be missing out on some good information.
Well, this past week I've put that thought into action. Work From Home Momma participated in not one, but two, excellent blog carnivals about working from home.
While all of the carnival posts were great, I've highligted some of my favorite entries from each carnival. So, sit back and relax! Prepare to enjoy some of the best recent posts for small business owners.![]()
The Mothers in Business Carnival was hosted by the My Day Off blog this month. Here, I found a wide variety of helpful posts. It was hard picking the ones that I thought that you would find most useful, but I managed to single a few of the best out. In my opinion, here are the top four posts from this carnival:
- How to Overcome Procrastination in 8 Easy Steps - Who doesn't struggle with procrastination? This helpful post is a step by step guide for overcoming it.
- Craft Research: Craft 2.0 - There's a new arts and crafts movement, and it's being fueled by the Internet.
- 5 Key Steps To Internet Business Success - Do you dream of a successful online business? Be sure to read this post to discover how to succeed.
- 101 Ways to Make Money Online - This post works well as an idea starter. While I wouldn't try some of these ways to make money, I have to admit that the original poster has come up with over 100 money-making ideas.
The Working at Home Blog Carnival is hosted at the Working at Home on the Internet blog. Once again, I had trouble choosing the notable posts, but I managed to single out a few. Here are four of the best posts from this carnival:
- Are You Turning Your Strengths Into Weaknesses? - This post got me thinking about what's a strength and what's a weakness. There's definitely some food for thought here.
- It Takes Strength to Take a Risk - Maybe I'm on a strength theme for this carnival, I don't know. I do have to say that I loved this post - it's beautifully illustrated and written.
- Top 31 Motivation Hacks - Get motivated with these 31 tips from this promising new blog. I'll be visiting this blog again.
- How I made $45,624.08 Last Year Writing on the Internet - I have to admit, the specific headline captivated me on this one. Fortunately, the post lives up to its headline and provides a wonderful peek into the world of a successful work-at-home writer.
