Would a tax rebate make a difference for the average work-at-home mom (WAHM)? As a WAHM, myself, who struggles to balance the budget each month - I have to say "yes." A tax rebate of several hundred dollars could indeed provide temporary relief. I appreciate every extra dollar that I can get!
While I don't believe that a tax rebate would be a permanent fix to our economic woes, in the short-term it might be able to ease the pain for some WAHMs.
- For WAHMs who are having trouble finding work, a rebate may mean the difference between working at home and re-entering the traditional workforce.
- For a few WAHMs who work part-time, $800 might be their entire monthly income goal!
- For still other WAHMs, a tax rebate could give them the chance to buy much-needed supplies or to set aside a crucial cash emergency fund.
- For WAHMs with larger operations, they may be able to use the rebate to invest in some capital equipment.
What do you think about this? What would you do with an $800 tax rebate, if you got it?
