Look Good and Feel Great! Five Sources for WAHM Fitness
I know that a lot of you have resolved to lose weight and get in shape in 2008. As a work-at-home mom (WAHM), getting in shape is one of the best investments in your business that you'll ever make. You'll have less sick time, more energy, and generally feel better.

In fact, if you're a regular reader of Work From Home Momma, then you already know that I like to write about how good health can benefit your business.

It can be tough to stay fit when you work at home, especially if you do sedentary work that requires you to sit at the computer all day. Add to that the fact that your kitchen and refrigerator are nearby and handy for making snacks and, well, you've got the makings of a full-blown diet disaster.

With fitness in mind, I've scoured the Internet for you to find some helpful tips to getting in shape.

Here's what I've found so far:

If getting in shape is your goal this year, there should be enough information here to get you started on a plan that is right for you.

(Important Note: Before going on any diet or starting any fitness plan, be sure to check with your doctor.)

What about you? Do you have any fitness ideas or tips about getting in shape?

Hi Laura, thanks so much for linking to my article, Living Healthy, at PJ Mommy. It has definitely been a long time coming to get myself healthy, so I am glad I wrote the post because now I have to stick to it. By the way, I love your blog. You offer tons of great info to working moms, regardless of where their office location may be - in the home or or out!

Thanks Dannie!

I do try to think of the needs of a wide variety of moms when I post.

BTW, I enjoy PJ Mommy too. I've been known to lurk there, from time to time.

Here's my fitness tip: While working on the computer, I'll work on my abs by tightening them.

Fitness is definitely important. It helps with productivity and it helps with creativity in your business.
