A Peek Around the Work-At-Home Blogosphere

Reading blogs gives me an edge in my home business that I could never otherwise get. By following several dozens blogs  in the home office/work from home niche, I benefit from the experience of dozens of other home business owners.

You can do the same. Reading Work From Home Momma is a terrific start to learning more. I've also picked out a handleful of posts about working from home on other blogs that caught my eye this week.

  • Skellie is posting a series on Becoming a Web Worker over at FreelanceSwitch. If you've been thinking about starting to freelance based on the Web, then this series of posts could be for you.

  • Lorna and Tamara have started subcontracting for other freelancers and they have an interesting discussion going on that topic over at Freelance Parent. online.jpg
Did you find a blog post, on Work From Home Momma or elsewhere, particularly interesting or helpful this week? Share the link so that we can all learn.

I agree. We have learned so incrdibly much about business, working from home, and freelancing because of the numerous wonderful blogs that share their knowledge. Thanks for the link love!

The wealth of knowledge from those that have been there and done that is amazing. You can glean so much from the information they provide.

I am in the process of collecting useful freelance links, but it's not in a useful-for-sharing format yet.

One of my favorite places to learn from freelance writers is actually a forum and not a blog. Regardless, it's highly useful because each month there is a Just Hit Send (JHS) Challenge that encourages the participants to JHS on those queries! Watching the process from the beginning of the month to the end is just amazing. It all takes place in the Freelance forum over at the Absolute Write Water Cooler.

Hi Lorna and TJWriter!

I like both forums and blogs. I am a member of the Absolute Write forums, although I mostly just lurk over there. I think that there's good information to be had in each place. By reading a variety of blogs and participating on forums, you can learn things that would take a long time to discover on your own.
