Success
On the Your Small Business Can Succeed post, I was pleased with the way readers explanded on the topic.

"My advice for success would be to be tenacious. See what you want, go after it, and never look back or to either side. It's so easy to get sidetracked by, "If I'd onlys," and, "What ifs." You can learn from the past, true, but it doesn't do to dwell on what would have happened if you'd done this or that. Past is past. The future is where exciting things can happen if you start the wheels spinning in the present.
Lord knows I've had a lot of ideas for start up businesses, but I haven't had the funds to cover the start up costs until recently. If I were to sit around and dream about what would have happened if I'd just had the money to have given this idea or another a shot, I'd never get around to building my business today."

"Focus is all-important. I tend to have scattered energy and I have to consciously avoid going off in different directions.
When I decided that I was going to move into freelance writing, I dedicated my focus and attention to this particular goal. The outcome was very clear in my vision and I targeted certain projects and clients.
Self respect is crucial. I make sure that I work as hard for myself as I do for my clients. I take pride in my accomplishments.
It's also important that we never take things personally. Try not to dwell on rejected proposals and focus on the next successful venture."
Town for Sale
On the Have any Spare Towns Lying Around? Sell Them For Extra Cash on eBay post, Yvonne Russell of Small BizMentor left the following comment:
"Creating a buzz is becoming increasingly more difficult, so lateral thinking is the order of the day, even if it's not as "out there" as this one."
The Roles that We Play
On the Work at Home Moms: The Many Hats We Wear post, Misses E. of the Misses E. Diary of a Work-at-Home-Mom blog pointed out that I left out a few roles:
"You forgot personal assistant and organization consultant, and most of the parenting list is doubled if you're in a marriage/relationship."
Great comments all!
