National Work From Home Week
It's National Work From Home Week according to this post at the Two Minute Commute. According to Teresa at Key Business Partners it's also Women's Small Business Month.

I actually didn't know about this week's designation or this month's designation until I read the posts about it, but personally I'm glad to see it. I think working at home is an idea whose time has come.
worker.JPG I'm not sure who is coming up with these designations, but as far as I'm concerned the more that people realize how feasible and economical working from home has become, the better.

What you can do to raise awareness about how viable working at home really is? If you have a blog, you can post about working from home. Or, you can just talk to people around you and make them aware that you work out of your house.

For more information about National Work At Home Week you can also check the Work At Home Success website.

What about you? Did you know it was National Work From Home Week? Do you think more people need to learn about working from home?

I've never heard of National Work from Home Week. I'm actually rather glad we have it. Now we just need towns holding events for it like they do for National Poetry Month in April. Maybe a networking luncheon for local home workers would do.

I know people, in my area at least, still believe working from home is nothing more than a myth believed only by the truly gullible.

Misses E. you and I are on the same wavelength!

I'm glad we have it and I would like to see it promoted more. I had never heard of it before I read about it in Noel's post.

However, we can all help educate people a little this week by blogging about working from home.

Funny you should say that, I'd just finished putting up a new blog, which is basically the diary of a WAHM.

Hi Misses E!

I'm not sure if the blog I saw was your new blog, but I couldn't leave a comment there because I am not registered with your blogging service.

It looked good, though.

Thank you!

That's the only thing I don't like about blogger.

Misses E.

Yeah! Although some Blogger bloggers (sounds redundant)have it fixed so you don't have to sign in. I'm not sure how they do it.
