I think that most working parents could say "yes" to both of those questions. I know that I can often say "yes" to the question.
That's why I was pleased and amazed to find that the Dumb Little Man blog published a list today of over 35 time saving tips. The list is from K. Stone, who is the author of Life Learning Today.
I have to say, I sincerely hope that K. Stone hasn't been following me around to find out how I've been wasting time. (Should I be looking at the neighbors with new suspicion?
) She touched on many of the time-wasting habits that I've struggled with in the past. Some of these tips I've already discovered, and they do indeed save time. For example, I learned when my kids were babies to get things ready the night before, as K. Stone suggests. It's truly a timesaver, especially if you're not a morning person and you're getting both yourself and kids ready.
The only one tip on this list that I can't see myself using is the number four tip under Laundry & Cleaning. I just can't see myself using the bathroom garbage pail to mop with. Even though we line the pail, this just seems gross to me.
What about you? What are your favorite timesaving tips?

Aside from using a timer to avoid getting distracted while working, outsourcing tasks that I don't enjoy helped me save lots of billable hours.
