I did manage to communicate with Francine Kizner, Senior Projects Editor of WomenEntrepreneur.com, who graciously provided these insights:
"WomenEntrepreneur.com was designed as a place where women can come to learn, connect and help each other grow their businesses. We have articles, blogs and message boards on all subjects relating to starting and growing a business and we encourage participation on all our pages through comments."
"Our primary readers are women who want to start businesses or own businesses and are looking to grow. We have columns for mom entrepreneurs, women entrepreneur over 55, home based entrepreneurs, women who travel a lot, and women who are looking to grow their business fast."
I found WomenEntrepreneur.com to be full of information geared specifically for the woman who owns and runs her own business. I clicked on the Articles section and was pleased to see well-written and helpful articles in a topics ranging from Sales and Marketing to Startup Basics to Growing Your Business (to name just a few.)
If you like blogs, WomenEntrepreneur.com has not one, but ten, separate blogs. Each blog promises to be a first-class resource in its topic area. I was particularly encouraged to see a blog focusing specifically on the needs of women over 55. While I don't yet fit into that demographic (and won't for quite a while), I haven't seen many business blogs that specifically target the needs of this rapidly growing group.
In my opinion another real plus for the site is a section totally devoted to success stories. As my regular feed readers know, I like to feature interviews with successful work-at-home moms on Work From Home Momma. I believe that we can all learn from each other's successes. The creators of WomenEntrepreneur.com must feel the same way, since they have literally dozens of success stories featured on their site.
The site also features a podcast, several bi-monthly newsletters, and user polls. (The "Starting a Business" and "Growing a Business" newsletters might be of particular interest to Work From Home Momma readers.)
There were a few, in my opinion, less polished parts to the site.
The News & Resources link left me wanting a bit more. I had expected to see links to popular news media featuring stories on women in business. Or, perhaps, a businesswoman's take on the day's hot news topics. Instead, I found what appeared to be, for the most part, announcements and possibly a few press releases.
A final feature of the site that appears to be in its fledgling stages is the message board. Right now the message board has just a few dozen messages in any given category. I went ahead and registered anyway. If the site continues to provide high caliber material, the message board has the potential to become a really helpful resource as well as a great place to network.
Overall, WomenEntrepreneur.com is definitely a business resource that I'll be watching as both a blogger and a businesswoman.

Thanks for the resource! I bookmarked this site. There is a lot of information there:)
