It's Like Getting Cheats for Your Home Business: The Work at Home Moms and Dads Blog Carnival

I've decided to join the Work at Home Moms and Dads Blog Carnival  over at Julie Anne Bonner's blog.

If you're not following a blog carnival in your area of business specialty, you should be. Here's why:

  1. You'll get free tips on a wide variety of topics in your specialty. Bloggers typically submit their best work to a carnival, so posts are typically of a high quality.

  2. You'll discover additional information resources. The bloggers who submit to the carnival likely have a blog on the topic that you can refer to again and again.

  3. Networking. If you really like a carnival entry, you can contact the blogger and you may be able to start a discussion on the topic. (I have several readers who e-mail me on a regular basis.)

  4. Keep up with the competition. Is there some way that your home business can improve? A blog carnival may expose you to ideas that haven't thought about before.work-at-home-carnival.jpg

Blog carnivals are not just for blog or website-related businesses. I found a carnival of virtual assistants, many carnivals on crafts, homeschool, and more.

On one of my personal blogs I participate in a carnival on frugality. I always look forward to reading those carnival entries.

Back to the Work at Home Moms and Dads Blog Carnival, here are some of my favorite entries:

Thanks for the mention! There were some great entries from some amazing bloggers.

I completely agree that you should keep up with a blog carnival in your area of expertise. There is a lot of information out there for grabs.

Great article! I've been here before, but have never stopped to say hi. :)

Hi Julie!

Thanks for dropping by. I ALWAYS learn something when I participate in a blog carnival.

I have been blogging for more than a year and tried different types of blog marketing techniques to make money online. But blog carnival, I heard of it but don't know exactly what it is. Thanks for your explanation on blog carnival and it benefits. I know it now.
