The thing is: Rico's absolutely right. My excuse not to go the gym is always that I'm too busy. (Although I went twice this week, yeay!) The thing is, when I do make time to work out I do feel much better and I actually get more work done.
Not only can exercise produce clarity of thought, it can relieve stress too. I've experienced this benefit myself. When my kids were younger I used to take a walk through the neighborhood (about a mile) each evening. It definitely helped me deal with the stresses of the day.
If exercise so good for us, why do we put it off? The reason could be as simple as procrastination. Whatever our reason for not getting enough exercise, we need to re-evaluate our lives and take whatever steps we need to in order to stay healthy.
Getting healthy is a win-win proposition. Our families will win. Our businesses will win. We'll win as we start to feel better and get more from our lives.
What about you? Are you like me? Do you struggle to find time to exercise?
