
Here are some things to expect when applying for a virtual call center job:
- You will be interviewed over the phone
- There must be no background noise during the interview
- You may be required to attend to training
- There must be no background noise while you are working
- You must be available to answer the telephone during your assigned shift
- You may be expected to have a reliable working computer with a high-speed Internet service
Remember to inquire about your employment status. Some virtual call centers hire their workers as employees (and may even provide benefits). Other companies use independent contractors to perform the call center tasks.
