I found Nataly's 10 Ways to Save 10 Minutes on workitmom through a post on the Careerandkids blog. The post is a great list of timesaving tips, complete with suggestions for what to do with your extra ten minutes at the end of the post.
If you're like most work-at-home moms (and like me), you usually feel crunched for time. There's so much to do and it feels like there's so little time to get it all done in.
However, if we're really honest, there are small things that we could all do to streamline our lives. For me, it's keeping things together that I use together.
For example, before I leave home I often have to go to the living room to get my purse, the breakfast nook/office to get my checkbook, and my bedroom nightstand to get my eyeglasses. It would make a whole lot more sense if I kept all those things in the same place, rather than spending time going from room to room looking for them!
I also sometimes leave home without checking to make sure that the kids and I have everything that we need for where we are going. Twice in the past week I've left home, driven a short way -- only to have to return home to gather up something that has been forgotten.
What about you? Are there small areas in your life that you could streamline to save time? Leave a comment and let us know.

I definitely can do better tidying my desk. :-) It can oftentimes cause me to waste some precious few minutes every time I have to look for some documents or other supplies.
However, there's something that keeps me from keeping everything in order on my table. I think it's the opposite of Obsessive-Compulsive disorder. (Is there even such a thing?) I feel so unproductive when my table's spic and span. LOL!
