Wendy Piersall has posted links to 25 Parent Productivity Tools for Busy Moms, Dads, and Kids on her site, eMoms at Home. There's something in this list for nearly everyone. Why do we let it happen?
I think that, as home-based entrepreneurs, we're accustomed to taking on a lot of responsibility. We're used to doing things for ourselves. There's no accounting department to bill the client, so we bill them ourselves. There's no marketing department, so we make the sales contacts. There's no collections group, so we handle that too.
That's why it feels so natural to us to take on too many of the home responsibilities. Even when we can afford to delegate some of the work to someone else, we hesitate to do it.
It doesn't have to be that way! Wendy's post shows us that there are plenty of services to make our life easier. All we have to do is use them.
