Devoted to WAHMs -Work at Home Moms

School has ended and summer break is on. It’s time for me to assess my situation and figure out my summer schedule. Even though my son will be attending a day camp four mornings a week, I’ll still be working less because we spend our afternoons enjoying our pool or at the park or another great summer activity.

I know a lot of moms who take on less work during the summer because it conflicts with their summer activities, but I can’t afford to do this. Instead, I cut back on personal projects. I read less in the evenings or watch less television in order to keep up. Even though I do my best to keep up with all my blogs, I do go on a shortened schedules with the blogs I own, so I don’t neglect the ones owned by others.

Lots of people think that because I work at home, I don’t have to work during the summer and this isn’t true at all. I just have to find ways to make it work. And you know what? I’m not the only mom with a laptop at the park, either!
