Yep, today is my birthday. Coming so quickly on the heals of Christmas and New Year's Eve h
as never been my favorite part of my birthday but whatcha going to do?
So if I had made any New Year's resolutions (which I haven't because overcoming procrastination was one I didn't complete from last year's list) and one of them had to do with eating healthy I would have to get a tofu birthday cake or stick a candle in a rice cake.
I really do want to make some resolutions and I want to do it up right with categories, time lines, spreadsheets, graphics and maybe even some music, like the theme from "Rocky", to get me all motivated and such.
So is one of your goals to find a job or create a business you can do from home? The key to any job search is just that: SEARCH!
Do it every day. Keep your eyes and ears open to the possibilities around you. I heard of a couple of work from home jobs on my local radio station and also read about a few companies that were branching out into at-home agent work by reading the local newspaper.
Let your family, friends, co-workers and other acquaintances know that you are interested in learning about new job openings.
Another thing you can do is prepare. Add to your skill base, listen to motivational CDs or read self-help books that keep your spirits up, learn a new skill, take a class, invest in a really good computer and more.
When you search and learn new things don't use tunnel vision. You might miss the one sentence in an article or ad
that mentions working at home if you decide to just read the headlines.
If you have always wanted to learn how to ice climb or mountain bike do it! I came across a work-from-home job that was looking for a copy writer that was familiar with outdoor sports.
The thing is; you never know when an opportunity is going to reach out and bite you or the opportunity is waiting for you to take a step forward and take your own tasty bite out of it.
Keep moving forward and you will realize your dreams. You might even pass it by on your way to something you never even dreamed of!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTA!
