Retailers might argue that consumers wallets are still as fat as a Chris
tmas goose but those of us who are pinching pennies might beg to differ.
Many of you that are looking for work from home opportunities aren't necessarily looking for full-time work or a sole source of income. Many of you are looking to get some extra spending money, pay off some Christmas credit cards or just put your toe in the water and see if working from home is really for you.
Although I work from home full-time and as a single mother rely on my income to provide for my family, I also look for ways to earn extra money to keep up with rising costs of raising a family, just like you.
Recently, I accepted a job with Sento, who has recently branched out into the work from home agent market. I blogged about this in past entries but since they are just starting out they are quite disorganized and I found I had to make call after call to remind and ask about schedules etc. In the end I decided that trying to work two full-time jobs from home was going to be too hard and I gave up
the position. They are still hiring in certain areas including Raleigh, North Carolina.
I was lucky enough to stumble on a position that is very flexible (the Sento job had a set schedule) and is temporary, something that fits my needs right now. I am helping out a company that is closing up shop and just needs someone for the next few months to help them finish up selling their inventory of antiques online. I write up the descriptions and they upload them to eBay. You can check them out under the seller name OldWorldConnections.
The point I wanted to make is that when I came across their ad it was a full month after they had posted it and so I thought for sure they had filled the position. I decided since I had done this before, for their closest competition in fact, I would give them a call and offer my services if they should ever need them. Turns out they did, but only for a few months.
You can't be shy about putting yourself out there. Even if you think you might not be qualified for something, ask anyway. You never know if someone is willing to take you on for even a short time to help them out. You get some extra cash and they get some help right when they need it. Works for both sides.

Looking over your site, have been inserting. I do look forward to working at home with, this agency if provided with a job. Thank you in advance.
