One of my blog readers mentioned working for this company and so I decided to check it out. www.verafast.com is where you can go to read up on the company and listen to some irritating techno music while within their site!
Here is what they say about themselves: Ver-A-Fast is one of the largest verification companies in the world, making over 40 million outbound calls annually. Since 1976 we have grown to become a recognized leader in customer acquisition and retention while providing services to some of the largest and most prestigious corporations in the world.
Their web site is extremely unhelpful with information pertaining to finding a job with them. They have a section labeled 'contacts and career opportunities' which takes you to this page where their is contact info and another link but nothing else about positions or jobs. It then takes you to a page where you click on 'opportunities' to take you to this page where you are asked to fill out a questionaire/application and you get another link to a page that has a sample script.
And just in case you wondered, the irritating music travels from page to page. Arrrrgggghhhhhhh!
I guess it gives you an idea of what you will be saying if you got a job but there isn't anything else about jobs. Zilch, zip, nada. I will go ahead and fill out the questionaire/application and see what else I can find out.
You can read through the rest of their web site to find out more about the company and what it does. Sadly due to a computer problem I have, the irritating music shuts down my computer so I wasn't able to spend enough time on there researching it myself. Yeah, yeah I know time to get a new computer or a computer overhaul!
Your right the music is very anoying. But just so you'll know there is a little icon in the lower right hand side of the page that when you click on it, a big X appears over the icon and it turns the music off.
