I answered based upon my last traditional, commute-to-work job. After you take the survey it will give you the updated results. One thing I found interesting is that although many people had thought about buying a more fuel-efficient car due to gas prices very few people had actually bought one.
I am so glad that I don't have to commute to work. One of my sons commutes further than I did with my last job and he pays so much in gas he is looking to buy a motorcycle AND find another job. My eldest son had car troubles all of last week and the first 2 days of this week and so I was helping him with his commute.
I don't miss warming up the car on a cold morning, entering the stream of freeway traffic, and listening to the inane chatter of radio personalities. Okay, now that the kids are out of school it's not too different but hey, I can change the chanel by telling them to go outside and play!
Do I miss the commute? Heck no!!! My commute consists of throwing on a robe and heading for the computer!

Marta - "heck no"? Such language, and THREE exclamation points!
