These are the most common and also the ones that you will find have the most scams running. So what should you do?
What about selling stuff online? Can you make money doing this? The Internet boom has peaked and dived and it's not the animal it once was. In order for you to even entertain the thought of selling your product you need to get the consumer TO your product. If you aren't well versed in how to get a website up and drive traffic to it you will be lost before you even get started.
Another thing to consider is the safety of your customers while they are shopping your site. Consumers are reluctant to give out their credit card info to just any website. Customer service and follow up are key to keeping your customers once they have decided to take a chance on you.
Of course what you are selling is important as well. You will need to consider size, quantity, shipping concerns and costs as well as whether you will sell in the US alone or world wide.
Making money online isn't any different than making money anywhere else. You will put in your time, money, sweat, and tears. Don't be discouraged just be realistic. For a bit of inspiration think of Amazon.com and how they started out just selling some books. They have their finger in many a pot nowadays and are a househole name. You have to start somewhere and sometime!
