Well since I am doing the application experiment here I am allowed some errors am I not? The better for me to make them and YOU learn from them je suis juste? Let's just say in the interest of science I made a boo boo.
In the West Work From Home Agent application process you are given 5 days to complete the first certification step. I didn't account for the weekend being included. I assumed we would be talking business days here.
So Monday morning was the last day I had to complete the test. It gives only two attempts to complete it. They have the items you need to complete in a kind of check off list with corresponding link buttons. The problem here is that the tutorial or content that you need to read to prepare for this test is the very last one instead of following the pattern as the rest of the check off list.
That means that I clicked on the test instead of the tutorial. Once you engage in the test you can't exit it or you lose that chance. I tried. I tried because I hadn't read the tutorial and was going to miss all the questions anyway. Well, maybe not all the questions since I am a natural born multiple-choice test taker!
I lost the second chance due to a 'severe error' my computer experienced-freezing said computer and test. I then received an email saying the time had expired and my log in to the test area had been suspended. I was then instructed to email them if there had been a computer error or another technical reason I hadn't been able to complete the test. I am now awaiting a reply to that email.
Moral to the story? Allow yourself more than one day to read the tutorial, take the test, and allow for any computer errors. More to come soon.

Marta, I thought you might want to mention this as a resource to your readers. It is the US Chamber of Commerce for Women
