The times they are a’ changing and what was once thought of as a realm of babysitting and Avon saleswomen has now morphed into a world of Instructional Technologists and web marketers, to name a few. Working from home is a dream of many, both men and women, and the dream is fast becoming reality.
This Blog will consist of the rantings, ravings, insights and introspections of a WAHM (Work at Home Momma). I hope you will join me with your perspective, tips, and success stories.
Just a bit about me. I am a single mom with seven (yep, I just counted again to make sure) children. I work from home full-time and also attend college part-time. I know, when do I have time to eat or sleep? Well, I don’t but what mom, working in our out of the home, can’t relate to that?
Even while I was married our finances required me to work so I am no stranger to being the main breadwinner but I hated letting my kids be raised by sitters. In my search for jobs that could be done from home I tried out Mary Kay, Herbalife, newspaper routes, babysitting, and the like.
Tomorrow I will share more about what I learned and how I find myself where I am today. Join me and please be prepared to share your own stories, wishes, dreams and frustrations.

Marta, as a WAHD (Work At Home Daddy) also in college, I can relate a teensy bit (about one-seventh) to your life experiences. I couldn't agree more with the phrase, "When do I have time to eat or sleep?" I hope this blog helps, rather than hurts, your sleep patterns! - Easton
