Trying to juggle it all-mother, work, school, and life-can make you feel like you don't have anything more to give. Work-at-home-moms can get easily discouraged, especially when so much of that juggling takes place in the same spot-home!
In cruising blogs this morning I came across a great story about Ironman Explorer: Sarah Reinertsen who lives in Orange County, California, also home to the company I work for, Know More Media. She is the first women with an artificial limb to compete and finish (she missed the bike finish by 15 minutes last year) in Kona, Hawaii in the Ironman competition.
Sarah made herself into who she is today. There was no one to model herself after so she invented herself. This just proves what we all should know--we can be or do whatever we aspire to as long as we are willing to pay the price, do the work, and invent ourselves.
Find the courage within you to make your dream of working from home come true. If you can't find what you are looking for invent it yourself or convince your current employer that you can create a viable work-at-home position.
In the coming weeks I will share with you the stories of others who are living the dream. Maybe this will further inspire you to persevere.
